What does 40 RMB mean in china?

can someone tell me what RMB mean?|||R (ren) stands for person 人





M (min) stands for people 民





together they mean people





B (bi) means currency 币|||RMB is Chinese currency. 40RMB equals about $5.85. Prices really vary greatly depending on the city you are in. In Guangzhou, 40 can get you a days worth of food, 2 shots of vodka in a bar, five taxi rides under 3km, or a cellphone SIM card with a really bad number. 40 rmb you can have a McDonald's meal, you can buy a ordinary t-shirt,buy one ball Haagen-Dazs ..actually,you nearly can do nothing..|||i once live in China,so depends on how u spend~


its a whole day fee for ur meal and drink in Beijing ,but if u go shopping or anywhere ,40RMB means a very ordinary Tshirt,or a ticket for some parks,if u like it...|||40 RMB mean in china:
