No. As long as it is recognised as legal tender by a government, it's value is guaranteed.





It is just like if someone give you a million RMB in USA, do you consider it worthless? Sure not as you can bring it back to China and either


a) use it there, or


b) change it to other currencies like USD to use in other countries.|||Yes, both currencies can't be traded outside from respective countries.





Technically worthless but practically still tradable in certain 'money changer'.
