Is it to late to start feeding RMB?

my cats 9-10 years old is she to old to start?|||I do not think it is too late. Depending on what she has been eating until now though, it might take quite a bit of time and patience to get her to do so.

If she normally eats canned food you could start not with bones but with some small pieces of raw meat added to her meals. Once she has accepted the raw meat and eats it readily, and this might not be for a few weeks, you would see if she'll eat the same meat on its own, not mixed with her regular food.

When she is doing that try her on some pieces of with just tiny bones attached such as ribs. Or use a very small-bodied meat source like a cornish hen then she might be willing to try a leg bone particularly if it was cut into small pieces. Like a chunk of flesh with just an inch or less of bone attached.

After she accepts the small pieces of bone, you could begin to use larger.

Hope you'll post more questions on this adding information like what exactly she does eat now and why the bones. Are they to be part of a complete raw diet or just a supplement for her teeth?
