Your bills 500 - 1000 depending on how much you like A/C. Leaves you 8,000 to play with. 8,000 in SH goes half as far as in a smaller city. Shanghai Beijing and Shenzhen just seem to be way way more expensive in my experience. I live in Guangzhou. Free apartment - no bills less tax than i should, bigger salary than that - and I am comfortable, to hardly well off. You offer? somewhere between comfortable and scrimping|||normal life would be your option, 15000 rmb is not enough to be rich anywhere, work hard.
