What is the difference between RMB (Prey Model) diet and BARF diet for dogs?

I feed my dogs and cats Dr Ian Billinghurst RAW BARF (pre packaged) food but I've read that RMB (Prey Model) is better for the animals, so what is it, how do you make it, and is it more cost effective?|||Raw(prey model or franken prey) vs Premades and homemade BARF





Raw


-No fruits, veggies, very little use of propbiotics and other supplements





-Can be tailored to your dogs personal needs. One dog may need more bone and less organ. The other more organ and less bone. Can't do that with premades





-You knows exactly 100% the precentages of what your dog is getting





- Premades tend to be more per pound than raw meat, bones, organs etc per pound over all





-Premades are ground - takes away all benefit that comes from stripping meat from bone and crunching said bones up.





-Premades have more plant/vegetation included in their product than any canine would naturally consume by way of the stomach contents of very small prey such as rodents and birds and some that canine normally do no eat - kelp for example





-While convenient premades are nothing more than raw a raw version of kibble.





-premades are usually the reason why some go back to kibble. Their dogs never have a normal bowel movement because the bone to organ ratio is not right for them. OR they have other issues like stomach upset or allergic reactions do to what in the premades either meat wise or the "extras" alfafa apples etc.





-Prey/Franken prey model allows the owner to allow the owner to give the dog strictly what works for them.|||RMB is better. RMB is cheaper. RMB is more natural. RMB is healthier.
